Aesop Newtown

We invite you to visit our new store in Newtown. It is a small space, without pretence, designed with the same thought and care we have given its older siblings.

Respecting the historical integrity of the building, we have kept our changes to a minimum, stripping the interior back to its original bones, bleaching the floor and then placing our skin, hair and body products on simple metal hospital trolleys.

Wooden butchers’ chopping blocks from Germany are used as seating, and twelve Modus lights illuminate the room from above. While the lights appear to be fluorescent they are actually incandescent tubes, and provide a warm glow with minimal damage to the environment and the nerves.

We are pleased to move into a suburb so diverse and honest in its nature. We look forward to enjoying the area’s superior Lebanese food and nearby Campos Coffee in addition to meeting our local clientele. ‘
